Keeping judges, attorneys and other courthouse personnel safe presents many challenges. The WAVE helps with courthouse security by providing instant notification of any emergency situation to all radios tuned to the courthouse security frequency. Officers can respond immediately without any dispatch delay.

Traditional courthouse security systems notify a dispatcher or control room of an emergency through a visual or audible signal. The dispatcher must then identify the location of the incident and call for assistance, usually over the radio. In an emergency, seconds count. The WAVE improves response time by automating dispatch.

Wireless panic buttons are easy to install in any courthouse, even in historic buildings. Weather resistant panic buttons can also be deployed in parking lots and similar locations.

The WAVE also supports mobile panic buttons which can be carried around by courthouse personnel. This intelligent button can locate a person in distress at the push of a button and transmit that information to officers over their radios.

The WAVE can also be used to secure restricted areas of the courthouse after hours. A portable version of the WAVE can be used to protect judges or other vulnerable individuals outside of the courthouse.
