Duress / Panic Alarm Systems

Whether you are in a courthouse, schoolhouse, college campus or hospital clinic, it is critical to get your first responders on the scene as soon as an incident occurs.
Most panic alarm systems notify a control room of an emergency. The dispatcher must be at the console when the alarm comes in and not be busy with other matters. The dispatcher then has to determine the location of the emergency and send first responders to assist. Many panic alarm systems are even less efficient and make a phone call to a monitoring station that can be hundreds of miles away. The monitoring station must make a phone call back to a dispatcher in order to request assistance. This process can take anywhere from 30 seconds to five minutes. This is a very long time to wait for help when you are under attack.
The WAVE automates dispatch and improves response times dramatically. As soon as a panic / duress button is pressed, all first responders are automatically notified of the location of the incident. They can get moving towards this location immediately.
The WAVE can also send emails and text messages as secondary alarms to personnel who do not carry radios.
